Wood Decking of Paving Stones for Deck Surface

I am looking at building a 16 x16 deck and wondering if lumber or pave stones would be more cost effective. What would you suggest?

Lumber is usually less expensive

Lumber is usually less expensive than paving stones. However there are some new products on the market that allow you to place paver stones onto a frame of lumber joists.

I have never used the product but have seen some of these systems at various industry trades shows and depending on the look of your home seem to be a nice option.

But you have to buy the special web framing system that goes on top of your deck framing. Then you have to get the right pave stones. So this usually adds up to more than just using lumber.
