Wall Flash Detail - Deck Tile Job
Warning: It's very important to pay attention to the wall flash detail.

This job had a brick wall to deal with so some hard work was required to remove a course of brick and install a wood backer board with room for a ringlet. Ensure the TileDek is glued down flat and smoothly right up to the transition point against the wall.
Leave plenty of material to flash up the wall and into the ringlet under the upper course of brick. The next step is to apply adhesive to the deck surface. The easiest way to do this is to fold the TileDek membrane in half along the length of the roll. |
