Hot tub weight

I won an inflatable 6 person inter hot tub. I have a large deck. 12x 20 on both sides of the house. With a header to the house and the deck was built 6 years ago.
Is it safe to use the hot tub on the deck. We would only be using it with 2-3 people at most.

You'd want to look up max weight of whatever 2x? Is for your joist horizontally and add up your joist and divide the weight of how many gallons and everything else on the deck and max people etc
like . Assuming deck is attached correctly too.

Also lots of things to take into account. Shear strength too. We're nails used, if so what size. Did someone do everything with screws and used no nails, that would be bad, esp on joist and joist hangers. Water weight is 8.3 per gallon.

Also when counting joist I think you may also want to consider localized weight on just the joist the pools sitting on, make sure that load is safe first and then also total deck weight .

6x6 post are good but if it has a ledger it's probably not free standing supported, water weight and movement is a lot of lateral force if it's not braved correctly too
