Deck stair stringer that butts up against elevated landing, not sitting on top

I'm trying to calculate my layout to cut a stringer for deck stairs from second story deck to landing. Tbe bottom of the stringer still attach to tbe side of the landing. Everything I see for calculating stringers is based on tbe stringer bottom sitting on top of tbe landing. What is different about tbe way I should calculate to attach to the side of tbe landing?
