Composite Decking on Patio Cover

I am thinking about replacing the wood slats on our patio cover with composite decking slats and have some questions:
- Is there a tongue and groove decking that could be used for this as I want water to move to the two ends?
- Can the composite slats be painted to match the house and rest of the patio cover?
- Would Composite siding work better? The covering will not bear any weight.
